Treibball
Are you ready for some teamwork, focus, and fun! Treibball (pronounced “try-ball”) is a herding-style sport where dogs learn to use their noses and bodies to push large exercise balls into a goal—like playing soccer with their handler! It’s a mentally and physically engaging activity that builds confidence, improves off-leash control, and strengthens communication between you and your dog.
This class is great for dogs of all breeds and sizes—no herding experience needed. You’ll learn the foundation skills including targeting, distance work, direction cues, and how to “drive” the balls into the goal with teamwork and precision.
Whether your goal is to compete or just have a blast with your dog, Treibball is the perfect mix of fun, focus, and fitness!
Prerequisite:
Completion of Advanced Manners or instructor approval
Price:
Intro - $230 for a six-week class that meets for 55 minutes, once a week.
There will be options for testing thru an organization called NATE that you may choose to do at the end of the 6 week session. It is not required to move forward and keep learning but it is always fun to have more titles and build our team confidence.
