Trick Dog
From the 1920’s and 1940’s when trick dogs such as Rin Tin Tin and Lassie won peoples’ hearts, trick dog training has grown into one of the most exciting new areas in the dog training world. Trick classes are a wonderful way to build your dog's confidence, keep them learning, and sharpen your own training skills. Whether your goal is to earn trick titles or simply enjoy a fun activity that keeps your dog engaged, trick training offers a rewarding way to continue your training journey.
Novice Tricks
This 6-week class is designed to teach the foundations of trick training, including shaping in successive approximations (big word, fun skill!) and the importance of clicker timing, while working toward your AKC Novice title. Whether you are a title-hound or are looking to do tricks just for fun, this class is a great start to your journey- we will learn tricks that introduce body awareness such as Get in a Box, Spin, High Five, Kiss, and more!

Intermediate Tricks
If you have passed Novice level tricks and are looking for a challenge, this class is where it gets really fun! Now that we’ve built up some skills, we will start teaching new tricks with props to work towards finishing our AKC Intermediate AKC title. During this 6-week class, we will learn savvy tricks such as Go Hide, Walking Leg Weaves, Barrel Roll, Smoosh and beyond!
Prerequisite:
Completion of Basic Manners and Novice Tricks or instructor approval. Your dog must have their Novice Trick Dog title to be eligible for the Intermediate Title.

Advanced Tricks
If you have passed Intermediate level tricks and are looking to learn new ones, this class is where it gets really fun! Now that we’ve built up even more skills, we will start teaching advanced tricks with new props to work towards finishing our AKC Advanced AKC title. During this 6-week class, we will learn savvy tricks such as Go Hide, Walking Leg Weaves, Barrel Roll, Smoosh and beyond!

Completion of Basic Manners and Novice and Intermediate Tricks or instructor approval. Your dog must have their Novice & Intermediate Trick Dog Titles to be eligible for the Advanced Title.

Performer Tricks
If you and your rockstar dog have been training hard to get to the this level and you are up to the challenge to earn a Performer Title, get ready because this class is going to keep you busy! By now you and your dog have learned how to do lots of tricks and your skills for trick training are ready for you to grow into some new and well, harder tricks. During this 6-week class, we will learn tricks on the AKC Performer list as well as having fun making up some of your own. Due to the complexity of this level we have extended the class to 8 weeks.
Prerequisite:
Completion of Basic Manners and Novice thru Advanced Tricks or instructor approval. Your dog must have their Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Trick Dog Titles to be eligible for the Performer Title.
